Zeytinlibahçe Vocational and Technical High School is a very big school with 120 staff, 2500 students,29 classrooms and two buildings .There are also computer labs, a conference hall for 300 people, a sanctuary for 700 people and several rooms for free time activities.
Our school has different areas of specific expertise like logistics, accountancy and finance, secretary, justice services, IT, office management departments. Beside these departments our students can also take the university exam and choose any department they want.
Most of the students who study in our school are the children of those who immigrated to Mersin out of economical and some other reasons. As a result, they are mostly disadvantaged students most of them have not even been to any city out of Mersin .Going abroad and meet European students will definitely broaden their horizon and we want to help our students be aware of outer world and encourage them. As our school is based on the departments that requires technology, they will need English to get better jobs, but the students are not aware of it. Through this project, we also want 
them to get the opportunity to speak English and understand the importance of foreign languages. And of course we want to break the prejudice against Math-s and science lessons which is a very big problem for our students.
